It’s No Accident I Live In Austin
How do many people end up where they’re living? For a lot of people, it’s where their job takes them: have job, will travel. For others the place just calls to them. It’s no accident I live in Austin.

Can I say I’m a native Austinite? Nope. I moved here from New Orleans in 2000. What I can say is how lucky I feel living in Austin.

Austin Has A Good Vibe
On a deep level, I feel a connection to Austin, but I have to admit I’m not the only who feels this way. The natural beauty of a Austin is a showstopper. You don’t have to  travel  far to find an incredible array of things to do. You can tube down the Comal River, a spring fed, 72 degrees, amazingly clear river. Move to Austin and it’s an hour’s drive south. 

Enjoy camping? A 2 hour drive gives you a wide variety of areas to enjoy getting back to nature. What about water recreating? You’ve got Lake Travis. Do you enjoy a quiet evening on a beautiful river? Emma Long Park is your ticket.

Perhaps You’re A Music Fan
You’re going to love the music scene here. And let’s not forget the incredible Austin City Limits Festival held every September in Zilker Park. 

These are just a few of the reasons why I pinch myself sometimes because I feel so lucky living here. I’m blessed to be sharing my Austin experience with my wonderful wife, Dana, and son, Chase, born December 2005. Below are a few pictures of them.
